As an ordinary citizen what can i do to my area or to my city?

I'm an ordinary citizen of India and youngster aged 22. I have do something for my street or area. It's not clean. Even though the municipality cleaners come to my area daily morning and cleaning, it's been cleaned only for 1 hour. My area road is not good at all. No proper maintenance. I want my area to be good, clean and should become fame. The answer should be favorable for all the Indian youngsters. If each one reacts to this one, India can be made best tourism place in the world.
