Why is it so hard to find a Belle "Beauty and the Beast" in this world?

Ok here's the deal, admittedly I'm not the most handsome guy in the world. I'd give myself a 6/10 on the looks scale. But I still think I DESERVE a drop dead beautiful, and extremely intelligent woman like Belle! Belle was able to look p the Beast's frightening outer appearance, and she came to love him for who he was on the inside, which is a person's TRUE self. So why can't beautiful, intelligent women look p my frightening outer appearance, and see me for who I am on the inside? I get hit on by some average looking women, and some less than average looking women. But I turn them all down, because I'm waiting for my Belle.
