Nausea for 7 days, followed by painless watery diarrhea?

No blood in stool, no abdominal pain. This also happened to a lesser degree 5 months ago. Hida Scan ,(gall bladder scan) states 16% functioning, BUT no stones, Ultrasound confirmed no stones. THe watery diarrhea is confusing, it is not foul smelling, a fruity odor. Sorry to be so graphic. THe Docs say "no stones, don't operate"
