Baby led weaning -- what food did you start with?

Try milk with smashed fruit like bananas or oatmeal. Foods that have a liquid-y taste and can be slurped but slowly add more solids to the foods, anything soft not try not too much fruit or sweets because your son will want nothing but sweets and fruits. Maybe try squash or smashed up apples but not too smashed it turned to applesauce.
