A LOT. he began swimming when he was 13. and if you are a competitive swimmer, you go to meets almost every weekend. and you swim 4 events(races) in one day. so friday, saturday, and sunday, that's 12 races. but he is a professional, so he probably has more meets to attend than every weekend. so he swims a lot.
