Are the Unions days numbered, or will they grow stronger?

All the growth in union employees is coming in the form of gubmint employees, because unions are uncompetitive in the private sector. Now all we need to do is end gubmint unions because we know these gubmint employees are making double what their private sector counter parts are making and they're pretty much unfireable.
